Terms of Service
Acceptance
By using myDMC (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you (the “DMC” or “Customer”) and the operator of myDMC.
There are no myDMC accounts today. You use the Service by opening it in a browser — there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. If accounts are introduced, these Terms will describe them before they ship.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to bind the legal entity (sole proprietorship, d.o.o., j.d.o.o., or equivalent) using the Service. You confirm that the company details you enter under Settings are accurate — they print onto the itineraries your travellers read.
Trial & subscription
The Service starts with a free 7-day trial. The clock starts when you first set up your DMC, and the trial is a flag stored in your own browser — no card, no account, no charge. Exports produced during the trial carry a “Made with myDMC · Trial” watermark.
When the seven days are up, exporting stops: the export controls are disabled and no new PDF can be produced until you move to a paid plan. Everything you exported during the trial is already a file on your own disk and stays yours, and the trip itself stays in your browser and remains editable — it is the export that locks, not your work. Where an export surface can still be reached after the trial ends, it carries the same “Made with myDMC · Trial” watermark.
Paid subscriptions are not available yet. myDMC has no payment processing of any kind today, so nothing can be billed to you and no subscription can renew. The Pro plan we intend to launch is €99/month or €999/year — that is our stated intention, not a live offer, and nothing on this site can take your money.
When paid plans do launch, we will give at least 30 days' notice of any later price change to anyone already subscribed, and an existing subscription will keep its previous price for the remainder of the then-current billing cycle.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service to build, manage, and export itineraries for the travel arrangements of your customers. You may not: (a) resell or redistribute the Service to third parties without a written reseller agreement; (b) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing; (c) reverse engineer the Service or extract templates / code for use in a competing product; (d) attempt to strip or bypass the trial watermark on exports.
Your content
Trip data, photos, traveller information, and any text you enter (“Customer Content”) remains yours. Nearly all of it stays on your own device: the Service keeps it in your browser, not in an account on our servers. It reaches us only when you ask for something that has to run server-side — generating a PDF sends that trip to our renderer, and adding a photo uploads that file to our storage bucket when cloud photo storage is switched on. You grant us a limited licence to process and render Customer Content for those purposes. We do not sell Customer Content, train AI models on it, or share it with third parties except subprocessors required to operate the Service.
Our content
The Service software, templates (including Adriatic Curated and future templates), brand kit, design tokens, and rendered output formats are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use them while you are using the Service — during the trial today, and for the term of your subscription once paid plans exist. You may not extract or redistribute templates for use outside the Service.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Croatian and EU consumer protection law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or trip cancellations caused by issues outside the Service.
Termination
No recurring charge can run on its own today: no card is stored anywhere and nothing renews automatically. If you have a paid subscription arranged with us, you can cancel it at any time from Settings — the Cancel control under Subscription opens a written cancellation notice to us, and we confirm the cancellation in writing. Subscriptions are set up by hand, so cancellation is handled the same way: by a person, in writing. We have not yet published standing terms for what happens to the remainder of a paid period; until we do, that is settled in the same written exchange before anything changes.
If you never subscribed, there is nothing to cancel — to stop using the Service, stop opening it. Your Customer Content lives in your browser, so it stays there until you clear the browser's data or delete the trips yourself — take a copy first with “Download backup” under Settings, which writes your trips, library, suppliers, and DMC profile to a JSON file.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the hosted Service if you breach these Terms; in serious cases without notice. Because we do not hold your Customer Content, that would not delete it — but it would stop the server-side features (PDF rendering, cloud photo storage) from working. Once accounts and server-side storage exist, this section will set out the export-and-delete window that goes with them.
Changes
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes (pricing, data handling, scope of service) are announced on this page at least 30 days before they take effect, with the “Last updated” date at the top changed to match. We keep no account records and run no mailing list, so we have no way to email you about a change — this page is the notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zagreb, Croatia. Questions about these Terms: legal@mydmc.app.
